Happy Diwali

The diwali has always been special. The crackers light the dark sky with rockets roaring across making a perfect canvas to capture. The sky at night during diwali time is breath taking. If you happen to be at some metros where there are no space for the individuals to express their share of joy. To get the spirit of fireworks they have two choices to opt for.One the road in front of the house and the other sky above the house. In chennai if u happen to drive during a diwali day through any in-cut road then you are guaranteed to experience some war field scenario. Both sides of the road people will be standing the throwing the crackers to the middle of the road. But seeing the joy and spirit with everyone celebrates dissolves the anger if any within you. The next special which diwali has are the rockets which people send across..I mean they are intended to touch sky but a bit change in direction and landed them inside neighbors living room. Here in Chennai people spend their money getting crackers, shopping new clothes (u can see boards in front of showrooms offering buy two get five free offer) and then making sweets.

My diwali morning started at 7 .I had a quick bath. To add surprise to the day even my friend Suraj too took a bath on the day. I wish every day was diwali. Then as usual the yoga session. It was around 8.30 I decided to go for BF. When I came went outside to my surprise all were celebrating diwali and no hotel was open.I thought I will celebrate my diwali with millions of other Indians who would be left hunger. But the sudden flash of thought that a malayalee hotel would be remaining send waves of happiness. I thought of staying with the minority of Indians who will have their BF.Took my bike and had a Juice from there with bread omelet which I took only a half. The second half I packed and brought back home for Jimmy as he was hiding in wour bathroom outside afraid of the crackers bursting around. He was happy to have a surprise BF..Poor dog..the sound of crackers is too much to bear for them. Now need to wash clothes and make few calls..Now thinking of lunch and dinner..lets c hw the Diwali Day goes on. Happy, prosperous and a colorful Diwali to all.

India still crawls well Behind in moulding true leaders.

Few days back when i was reading through the news paper, news about Sanjay Dutt contesting the elections on SP's ticket grabbed my attention. This news certainly had a element of glamour in it. Of course the 'Munna Bhai' factor and perhaps this would be same reason that they are thinking of staging Munna as their party man in the election. The Munna effect can grab the layman and ensure that he would stamp for Munna . Of course these are those set of people who participate in elections just for the sake of it.

Let’s have a retrospection of Sanjay. Though there were times in his career that could really tear it down, he still managed to make it to the top in his field. The effects of his movies where tricking down and reached all sections of people. The latest of the series Hits with him playing as Munna was restoring the lost glory of Gandian values. People found the magic that non-violence can create. Well that’s looking from his career perspective. But when his personal life is looked on, it seems like a wretched story. The involvement in the Bombay riots, the possession of arms and trail of another incidents which few days back ended him in Jail with the media crying out for the Sanjay Bhai's innocence all are bright in our memories. But Crime is crime and there is no escape. With such an history of broken personal charisma the real question would be is he really strong to lead people morally and can the people look at him as a leader for future, at least form hia constituency. May be or may not be. I don’t know.

Any way that’s a question that future will answer. But i got the real shock I got was when I heard that Sanjay would not be able to contest due to legal hurdles (may be,he would) and SP is looking his wife as a alternative with Sanjay campaigning for her. This shows how much importance we are giving to leaders of future who will drive the country. This shows how low morale the political parties can have while selecting a leader. It clearly shows it’s not that they are believe Sanjay as a leader who can be the voice of millions, but their faith with Sanjay who with a tag Bollywood could turn the election results in favour of the respective party. This attitude of the political parties to win at any cost by contesting quality less glamour leaders who really can’t be the leaders should be rechecked. This not only gives us a light towards the future with strong leaders to guide us but also helps our country to be as strong as what we dream of her to be.
Jai Hind.
